WHAT'S nEXT?

The Playponics project is supported by a range of communities, research funders, and authorities, all of whom agree the projects ethos, its design, and its intent. However, for the work to continue, and for the playground gardens to move from being a proven idea to being a real-world product, available to schools and communities like yours, we need your help.

how to get involved

If you are a school, state or private, a community, housing association, park or municipal authority, or another kind of group that thinks these playground gardens would benefit your community please send us a letter of support (LoS). Your letter will not commit you in any way to Playponics and writing a LoS will not cost you or your organisation financially, in any way. We will use your LoS to leverage further funding from third parties and we will enter your details into our database of prospective beneficiaries, to receive a Playponics playground. If you would like to send a LoS please cover some or all of the below points in your correspondence, on your organisations letter headed paper and email it to info@playponics.in. Please also refer to the PDF’s embed in this website for further information.

  • Having reviewed the Playponics website (www.playponics.in) and talking with representatives from Ativa Design (Delhi, India) and the Lab4living (Sheffield Hallam University, UK) I write to confirm that our school [insert/or community], [insert school/community name] would be most interested in acquiring a Playponics playground garden.
  • l confirm that should these playground gardens be available for my school [insert/or community], [insert school/community address] we are without doubt, subject to securing funding for procurement and installation, and without any commitment to proceed without such, very keen to include Playponics as part of our school's environmental, play and STEAM educational infrastructure.
  • While we endeavour to include environmental education (EE), a formal requirement of our syllabus as per Government of India education Policy since 2005, its implementation in practice can be challenging. We believe Playponics will significantly enhance our EE and STEAM provision, facilitate their infusion, and our capability to deliver them. We believe Playponics it is not only a good idea but is one that has very real benefits to current and future generations.
  • Any other points you’d like to include in support of the Playponics initiative.
  • Signed, [insert name/role/title] [insert school or community name]

If you are a corporate social responsibility (CSR) agent, business, government department or NGO please email us at info@playponics.in so we can connect, discuss and advise how the Playponics model could be good for your organisation, your business, and its sustainability reputation.
